This was a fun one you guys! I don't shoot a ton of proposals and when Steven asked me to photograph his proposal to his girlfriend, Kiera in Iowa City.. of course it was a yes! I'm actually a Hawkeye myself and it was such a blast to return to where I went to school to capture such a momentous occasion (I'm pretty sure I might have been more nervous than Steven!). All of their closest friends were in on it and right after their proposal happened, they quickly met up (Kiera thought were just going to dinner with them that evening) and celebrated on the Pentacrest! This group was SO much fun and it was so darn sweet to see how excited everyone was for these two. We ended with some gorgeous photos of the two of them and even a couple photos at one of their favorite bars. I've only known this couple for a short time but I am so beyond thrilled for them! It was SUCH a joy to be a part of such an amazing moment in their lives and I am so grateful I was there to capture it. Congratulations Kiera & Steven! <3
